The Tokyo Comedy Store is a documentary about English speaking comedians in Japan. It is aimed at a Western audience with the intent to educate, entertain, and inform westerners about the various underground cultural experiences in Tokyo.
Focused mainly on the comedic performances and lifestyles of these English style comedians, this content rich program also includes in-depth interviews with the comedians, their views on Japanese comedy vs. American comedy, and performances from their acts; peppered with live music from local Japanese rock bands and other live performing artists in the Tokyo area.
